The Versatile Opener System (VOS) enables you to build the opener that fits your needs. The system consists of 2 parts, the holder and the tip. Different seed and fertiliser placements can be achieved by choosing between single shoot and Horizontal and Vertical Paired Row tips.
Step 1: Choose your holder:
688-HLD-1000 - Holder for seed only
Fits: Horsch 84° Shank
Tube Size: 1-1/4” (32 mm) O.D.
Overview: This single shoot holder has a narrow design allowing for more accurate seed placement behind the tip. Extra hard surfacing on critical wear areas increases the life of the holder. This holder comes with a second set of holes allowing you to adjust the pitch by 3° when required.

Fits: Horsch 84° Shank
Tube Size: 1-1/4” (32 mm) O.D.
Overview: This seed only holder has a narrow design allowing for more accurate seed placement and fertiliser application behind the tip. Extra hard surfacing on critical wear areas increases the life of the holder. This holder comes with a second set of holes allowing you to adjust the pitch by 3° when required.

Fits: 47° and 50° C-Shank
Tube Size: 1-1/4” (32 mm) O.D.

Single Shoot
200-TIP-0802 - 3/4” (19 mm) long-wearing single shoot tip with extra long carbide on the nose for high abrasive conditions. Used for seeding or fertilizing (not for double shooting).
200-TIP-2011 - 3/4” (19 mm) long-wearing single shoot tip with extra long carbide on the nose for high abrasive conditions. Used for seeding or fertilizing (not for double shooting).
200-TIP-3011 - 3/4” (19 mm) long-wearing single shoot tip with extra long carbide on the nose for high abrasive conditions. Used for seeding or fertilizing (not for double shooting).
200-TIP-4011 - 3/4” (19 mm) long-wearing single shoot tip with extra long carbide on the nose for high abrasive conditions. Used for seeding or fertilizing (not for double shooting).
610-TIP-0802 - 3/4” (19 mm) long-wearing single shoot tip with extra long carbide on the nose for high abrasive conditions. Used for seeding or fertilizing (not for double shooting).
Horizontal Seed Separation
610-TIP-4030 - 4” (102 mm) Paired Row tip with extra long nose carbide and narrow carbide on the cutting edges of the wings. Two carbide inserts under the wings firm up the trench prior to seed placement.
Horizontal / Vertical Seed Separation
610-TIP-4082 - 4” (102 mm) Paired Row tip with horizontal and 3/4” (19 mm) vertical seed/fertilizer separation. Extra-long nose carbide, narrow carbide on the cutting edges of the wings and under the wing to seal the fertilizer trench, and firm up the seedbed prior to seed placement.
